February 23,2012

Dear Dr.Alia-Klein,
Please be advised that I am in receipt of your January 31,2012,letter(it was postmarked February 16,2012,in case you're in question as to my delay in responding).
When I wrote to you it was never with an underlying purpose for you to help me in any way, even though I appreciate your offer.I have lived with this issue for most of my life and since I don't believe I could be helped, maybe my problem could be researched to help another.
I will be happy to answer any questions you may have whether it is via the mail or in person. If it is believed that I could be of help to NOVA(as well)please do forward my information to them.
As I said,I grew up in Rocky Point and if you would also like to know more about me from someone else's point of view?I am good friends with a retired staff member fromRocky Point high school(he is a retired professor as well). He has journals of mine that I wrote to/for him since 1983.If he doesn't believe harm will come to me he'll answer your questions, his name is William Thieben.
You do realize that I am about 35 miles from the Canadian border and 20 miles away from Plattsburgh University, close to Lake Placid...In other words,I'm in New York State, but it feels like another world.I suppose it is in a way for it is certainly a different subculture.
On January 24,2012,I was once again denied parole so I know I'll be here until at least 2014.Visiting is 7 days a week-6 hours per day and you need 2 forms of I.D. to get in here.
I will answer any of your questions and if you'd like my Mental Health records I'll give you permission to have them as well.I put emphasis on "I" for while others may not look to answer all your questions about me,I don"t believe I have anything to provide that would harm me.I've harmed myself far more than anyone else could.
Please excuse my cursive writing for it is far more easier than print.I'll close for now and look forward to your reply.
                                                         Sincerely,

                                                James morgan
